A series designed for early care and education professionals which offers hands-on activities to guide participants through Oregon’s professional development system. Topics include core body of knowledge, understanding and using the Oregon Registry to track and reward professional progress, and understanding the code of ethical conduct that guides professional conduct.

This session: Early care and education professionals perform vital and essential functions in our society by giving thousands of children in our state the strong foundations they need to succeed in school and in life and by providing crucial workforce support for parents and their employers. The child care sector is also a viable industry in its own right, creating jobs and supporting other industries to stimulate economic activity. Early child professionals and the child care industry have a huge impact on our society and local community.
